Our Shared Mission
This picture, one of my favorites, always reminds me of our mission at Kapstone Medical and Kapstone Manufacturing – to Inspire, Guide and Equip our customers. Done successfully, their inventive ideas come to life and together we create exponential value.
The picture exhibits the culmination of a week of trekking up Mt. Kilimanjaro following months of planning and preparation. Our group summitted during a rare blizzard, but it didn’t dampen spirits! What truly amazed us though were the local guides. They were set apart not by sophisticated equipment (actually, we were shocked by their apparent lack of equipment) but rather their resolve, enthusiasm, knowledge and spirit. Because they were intimately familiar with the terrain, we all benefitted. In short, they brought Kapstone’s mission to life, right in front of our eyes.
INSPIRE We believe in the people whom we serve. When customers come to us with a new concept, we're not just checking boxes - we're helping them to believe they can reach their goals. Inspiration is about showing what's achievable when expertise meets creative problem-solving and giving our customers the confidence that it can be done despite the occasional setback.
GUIDE Medical device development is a maze of technical requirements, regulatory hurdles, and manufacturing challenges. This is where familiarity with potential risks and roadblocks is key and it sets Kapstone apart from the rest. Whether climbing Kilimanjaro or launching a new product, never underestimate the value of an experienced guide who's been down the road before many times.
EQUIP At the end of the day, our job is to set our customers up for success.
